Therapeutic Touch by Appointment
Therapeutic Touch® is a consciously-directed process during which the practitioner uses the hands as a focus to facilitate the healing process. It is administered with the intent to enable people to re-pattern their energy field toward wholeness and health, thereby enhancing the client’s own ability to heal. Therapeutic Touch® can be used as a complement to other interventions. Therapeutic Touch® can be done with no physical touching, or with light touch on the shoulders, arms and legs. Therapeutic Touch® is effective in eliciting a relaxation response, reducing anxiety, changing the perception of pain, facilitating the body’s natural restorative process, bringing about an improved sense of well-being, and providing comfort during distressing circumstances.
Therapeutic Touch® is offered by appointment only.
