A cancer diagnosis causes stress and anxiety.  The impact of COVID-19 has only heightened these concerns.  Join us for a seminar that will explore the concept of resilience and create some strategies to ease life’s current challenges.

This session is offered by Stephanie Burlein-Hall.  Stephanie is a registered nurse with over 35 years of oncology nursing and education experience.  Most recently Stephanie worked in the symptom management program at the Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre.  In addition to being a Hearth Place volunteer, Stephanie is also a cancer survivor.

Fatigue Management Information Session

Are you feeling tired?  Fatigue is one of the most common symptoms and treatment side effects experienced by people with cancer.  This discussion will explore participants’ experiences with fatigue and provide strategies to help cope with this symptom.  This talk is open to all members and family caregivers.

We are excited to present our new series of practical seminars presented by Trallee Fanara, CIM, CFP, FCSI.  Topics covered will include the importance of wills, choosing executors, legacy creation and more.
