Our Mission: We empower a community of compassionate support, knowledge, and hope for anyone impacted by cancer.

Here you will find support whether dealing with the news of a cancer diagnosis, supporting a loved one through cancer treatment, or grieving the loss of a loved one to cancer.

 

Land Acknowledgment

We wish to acknowledge this land on which we are learning and living. We recognize our responsibility to learn about and become better stewards of this land. For hundreds of years, our lands have been the traditional lands of the Mississaugas of Scugog Nation. Today, our communities are shared with many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to live and learn on this land. Recognizing this, we seek a new relationship with the Original Peoples of this land, one based in friendship, honour, and deep respect.

• Young Adults Cancer Support Group

  

  This monthly support group addresses the unique concerns of young adults who have been diagnosed with cancer. Topics include dating, body image, returning to work, fertility, putting life on hold, and more.

  Monday, March 23rd, at 6:30pm – hybrid

   

• Why Do I Feel Guilty?

  

  Do you feel guilty when you cannot do the things that you used to be able to do for family or friends? How do you handle the guilt you feel about how worried your loved ones are about you?

  This 5-part series explores the different ways we feel guilt during our cancer experience and beyond.
