Our Mission: We empower a community of compassionate support, knowledge, and hope for anyone impacted by cancer.

Here you will find support whether dealing with the news of a cancer diagnosis, supporting a loved one through cancer treatment, or grieving the loss of a loved one to cancer.

 

Land Acknowledgment

We wish to acknowledge this land on which we are learning and living. We recognize our responsibility to learn about and become better stewards of this land. For hundreds of years, our lands have been the traditional lands of the Mississaugas of Scugog Nation. Today, our communities are shared with many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to live and learn on this land. Recognizing this, we seek a new relationship with the Original Peoples of this land, one based in friendship, honour, and deep respect.

• Self-Massage for Lymphedema Management

  

  In this presentation, we will learn some ways to do gentle self-massage in order to help ease the symptoms of lymphedema.

• Let's Be Real

  

  Join others in a safe space where we can drop our façades and be the sad, angry and confused person we sometimes feel like, instead of wearing the ‘brave person’ mask we put on in front of our loved ones. We will get real about our emotions, and learn how to process them.

  Begins Tuesday, January 21st from 1:00-3:00pm for 8 weeks – in person
