April 2, 2024This support group offers support for the caregiver as they care for their loved ones. Caregivers will develop a wealth of self-care tools to reduce personal stress, change negative self-talk, communicate their needs to family members and healthcare providers, deal with difficult feelings and make tough caregiver decisions.

Metastatic Cancer Support GroupMetastatic Cancer Support Group

April 3, 2024This program provides patients with metastatic cancer the opportunity to meet with other metastatic cancer patients. In a supportive and non-threatening setting, sessions focus on discussion and sharing of feelings and concerns regarding unique issues that can be triggered by this diagnosis. Through participation in this program patients may find comfort and reassurance and improve their ability to cope with the roller-coaster of emotions and re-entry into the medical system.
This group meets weekly on Wednesdays, from 12:30-2:30pm.

April 3, 2024This support group is for children who are coping with the diagnosis of a loved one with cancer. The group will focus on exploring different feelings and on developing strategies to cope with them.
The series runs in person, bi-weekly for 6 sessions, beginning on Wednesday, January 24th from 6:30-7:30pm.
Children between the ages of 4 - 12 are welcome.

Workshops are run on the 3rd Tuesday morning of the month, except for December, which is on the 2nd Tuesday.

April 17, 2024This program provides patients with metastatic cancer the opportunity to meet with other metastatic cancer patients. In a supportive and non-threatening setting, sessions focus on discussion and sharing of feelings and concerns regarding unique issues that can be triggered by this diagnosis. Through participation in this program patients may find comfort and reassurance and improve their ability to cope with the roller-coaster of emotions and re-entry into the medical system.

April 30, 2024An gathering for those who have completed our Let's Be Real series in March 2024. Please see below for a description of the series, and information about when it is next running.
When dealing with cancer, we often keep our true feelings hidden behind a mask of bravery and strength. This 8 week, in person, series offers a safe place where we can drop our façades and be the sad, angry and confused person we sometimes feel like, setting aside the "brave person" mask we wear in front of our loved ones.
Using expressive arts and open discussions, we will get real about our emotions, and learn how to process them and move forward with self-compassion and relief.
